Several TVT alums have been in the news lately as they have helped their teams win championships. These star athletes make TVT proud.
Carly Helps Stanford NCAA Triumph
Carly Malatskey, Stanford sophomore soccer forward, helped her team to win the NCAA women’s soccer championship Sunday, beating UCLA, 3-2. Carly, a 2016 TVT graduate, finished the regular season with 11 appearances, including one start. As a freshman in 2016, she played in 19 games, starting the final seven at right back. At TVT Carly captained her team from 2013-16, scored 73 goals in 2015-16 (second all-time in CIF history) and tallied 157 goals in three seasons (2013-16). She is the daughter of Andrew and Michele Malatskey.
Savannah Aided in USC Championship
Savannah Levin, a 2013 graduate of TVT, helped USC to win the NCAA soccer championship in 2016. Prior to that, she appeared in 18 games in 2013 and made six starts, appeared in 21 games in 2014 and started in 18 games in 2015. In high school Levin was named league MVP all four years, led her team in scoring and was a four-time first team all-league selection. She played club for Slammers FC, competed with Cal South ODP, winning regional championships from 2008-2011 and the national championship in 2011. She is the daughter of Desmond and Diane Levin.
Camille Is Soccer Pro, Former College Champ
Camille Levin, Savannah’s older sister, is a professional soccer defender with the Houston Dash. She helped Stanford to win the NCAA College Cup in 2011. The New York Times wrote that “Levin had one of the strongest games of her career and was arguably the best player on the field today for either side.” At TVT Camille was an NSCAA All-American in 2006 and 2007. As a member of the Cal-South Olympic Development Program '90 state team, in 2009 she played for the United States under-20 national team in a key match against Germany. At Stanford she was named to the NCAA College Cup All-Tournament team in 2010.
