Ms. Adair earned her B.S. in elementary education with a concentration in English from Western Illinois University. She spent thirteen years as an elementary classroom teacher before earning her master's degree in Library Science from East Carolina University. While in her librarian role, she saw how essential the library was as an informational hub for the various divisions and groups within the school environment. To strengthen this important connection, Ms. Adair is currently achieving an additional master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northcentral University.
Books in hands of students and a love of reading are her top priorities as she continues to cultivate a culture of reading and a passion for learning. In her spare time, Ms. Adair can be found scuba diving in tropical locations with her husband or taking their dog for a leisurely stroll.
